About us
Nestled in the centre of Durban’s newly revitalised Point Waterfront Development, the Bond Shed is a multi-purpose space perfect for weddings, exhibitions, corporate events or private functions.
Embracing the history of the area, dating back to the earliest days of Durban, the Bond Shed incorporates historic buildings to provide a rich, textured environment full of warmth and rustic charm.
The main shed can accommodate up to 100 guests seated or 150 cocktail-style. There is also the option to extend the venue into the courtyard using our beautiful bedouin style stretch tent for larger events.

What We Do
Bespoke weddings, exclusive corporate and private functions, customised conference set ups and product launches. Our speciality is creating unique and intimate events leaving your guests with a lasting impression they will never forget!
Alternatively, we also don't mind if you'd prefer to arrange your own catering & decor suppliers or deal directly with one of our trusted contacts.
We provide a full bar service with alcoholic & non-alcoholic options available.
We have a fully stocked bar and can arrange any special order items on client request.
We have pre-paid self-service bar or cash bar options, alternatively you can set up a tab which we will monitor and manage throughout the event.
We have top quality bar staff and trained mixologists who can provide a tailored
cocktail / mocktail menu or a top quality wine selection.
